Birth Stories Event Returns

The annual Birth Stories Event and Mini Fair returns to Whitehorse this November 17th at Mt MacIntyre Rec Centre in Whitehorse. This event features 8 speakers who share the story of how their babies came into the world. Come be inspired, come connect with others, come learn about community supports for your fertility, pregnancy and post-partum journey and come support the movement to ensure all birthing folks across Yukon have access to choices on their journey. Mocktails and light snacks will be served.

SEEKING SPEAKERS

We are looking for folks who are open to sharing their birth and labour stories. You do not need to be an experienced public speaker, nor do you need to have a fascinating or magical story - they are all magical in their way. If you are unsure if you should share your story, email us and we can discuss. We are happy to coach and support you to share. This is a space to celebrate the diversity of experience whether your baby was born at home, in community, in hospital or any other way.
